As we have already analyzed in the previous posts, the reception of the live television signal in coaches presents a number of technological challenges that require a detailed analysis of the different options that the market provides.

We must think that the reception of satellite television in fixed places, such as houses, campsites, parked caravans, etc. does not present any technical difficulty essentially for two main reasons:

  • Possibility of using antennas of different diameters depending on the strength with which the satellite signal is received.

• PRICE: since flat antennas (phased-array) generally have a higher price compared to the profile of conventional antennas.
  • Specifications: with reference to the dimensions and strength of the received signal. As we mentioned before some because, due to their dimensions, it is impossible to install conventional antennas because they would exceed four meters in height. And on the other hand, there are satellites that require antennas with a very large diameter to be able to pick up the signal, which makes it impossible to install these antennas on coaches.
