Our RD&I department has developed a combined intelligent system which effectively prevents the most significant and common risk situations.
The in-depth study of needs and research and development of the most modern technology has led us to configure two primary active systems. These guarantee the safety of both your passengers and the professional drivers who make up your team.
The first of these is a full advanced driver-assistance system (ADAS) focused on providing the driver information and alerts of all external incidents which may entail a risk during the journey.
Secondly, but no less important, is an intelligent system aimed at detecting potential human error. This solution is called the Driver Status Monitor (DSM).
The DSM safety system is one of the most important, as with it we cover one of the main causes of catastrophic accidents: driver distractions and fatigue. It uses an infrared camera and an intelligent artificial vision system, and is constantly focused on the driver from the side or front. It observes their behaviour and different indicators on their face.
Through this system, the CPU detects unsafe or unsuitable behaviour of the driver, such as looking away from the road for too long, using their mobile phone, smoking, or any other circumstance which distracts their attention. An essential factor it detects, which does not depend on voluntary actions or correctible behaviours, is driver fatigue.
Its facial recognition algorithm allows it to establish a series of reference points, adapted based on the physiognomy and characteristics of each driver. Thus, even when the driver wears sunglasses, it is able to detect any deviation from normal parameters, alerting the professional with sound and visual alarms.
These on-board safety systems fulfil all regulatory standards, and their capacity for learning benefits from the experience of thousands of vehicles which provide its databases information daily and in real time. They facilitate the work of professionals, providing value to your company, and above all, reducing risks.
