Why is it so important to have a partner and not just a service provider?
A provider, as his word indicates, provides us with services. As entrepreneurs, we need goods and services to offer our customers and therefore, we understand that we need one. But is he really understanding our needs? It may really do, although when our business depends on the satisfaction of our customers, it is important to know for sure. A good partner knows how to understand our needs and know how, through their products, to offer us the best solution to our needs and also provide solutions to our problems.
Unfortunately, we are currently going through very difficult times at all levels. How many times have we had to pick up the phone and call our suppliers to find economic solutions, suspend or even cancel their services in these last 2 years?
With these simple questions we can answer the first one asked, why is it so important to have a partner and not just a service provider?
Obviously business, business is. They support themselves with money. But also, business is done with people. People who understand each other. Who trust each other. We can convey our concerns and concerns in a double sense. If I may be allowed an anecdote... I, perhaps sinning of excess empathy, on many occasions I have told our clients that this does NOT interest them, and that they give me time to look for another solution. At the risk of losing a business opportunity and, more specifically, in the bus sector where competition is very high.
Because when you talk to a partner, they're not thinking about you in the short term. He is thinking of accompanying you on a long road full of many successes and understands that we are not talking about sales. We talk about offering solutions.
