• It should be universal and work from any operating system, be it a PC running Windows or a tablet running Android. For this purpose, a management application via web rather than a desktop application would be ideal.
• It should be managed centrally so that we have quick, easy and direct access to each and every onboard system.
• It should allow global changes , ie changes that affect the whole fleet, but also group changes, ie only certain onboard systems.
• It should be fast , so implement these changes in the onboard systems quickly
• It should have a retry mechanism: in the event that changes need to be made in the various onboard WiFi systems and some of those systems are not online, the system will keep trying until the onboard WiFi system is back online. A WiFi system can be offline for two reasons: when it is switched off or due to poor reception

It should be able to use the usage and consumption statistics easily and quickly . It is also important that this information is executable in standard formats. Segmented information is also important, ie by fleet, by vehicle group or by an independent vehicle, since a specific service has different requirements than another.
