An unforgettable journey of love

"In a kiss, you will know all that I have kept silent". Pablo Neruda.

The most romantic date of the year is approaching and with it, the need to give (and receive) the perfect gift. Valentine's Day is par excellence an opportunity to get swept up in the fever of consumerism and surprise. Every year, the bar is set higher and higher, and surpassing oneself is a challenge. Where to start looking for that gift that will thrill even Becquer himself?

We give you 5 ideas to make Valentine's Day memorable:

Azimut Valentine's Day

  1. A walk to remember through the "Jardines del prĆncipe", Aranjuez.

On the banks of the Tagus River is this "little corner" of Aranjuez of 150 hectares of extension. It was built by order of Charles IV in the late eighteenth century. A place to enjoy a romantic walk, surrounded by nature, and accompanied by sculptures and fountains such as the "Fountain of Apollo" or exotic ponds such as "Los Chinescos".

  1. Getting lost in the streets of Cuenca.

Declared a World Heritage Site, the truth is that Cuenca has that special charm that is hard to resist. Not only is it a city rich in architectural styles and iconic buildings such as the "Casa Colgadas", but also its gastronomy will satisfy even the most demanding palates with dishes such as "zarajos" or "ajorriero".

  1. A timeless journey in the "Templo de Debod", Madrid.

Approximately 2200 years old, this building was a gift from Egypt to Spain in 1968. For its location and views, it is one of the most beautiful sunsets in Madrid. A moment to enjoy before experiencing the night of the big city.

  1. A relaxing walk through the "Parque Güell", Barcelona.

Also declared a World Heritage Site, the "Park Güell" was designed by the famous architect Antoni Gaudí, in honor of Eusebi Güell. A dragon, well known by all, welcomes all visitors who want to start a sweet Valentine's Day walking through its magnificent paths, or as a prelude to a romantic night in the streets of the imposing Barcelona, where everything is possible.

  1. "Las puertas del cielo", Ibiza.

Nature lovers will find, rising above the Mediterranean Sea, a set of imposing cliffs which offer one of the most magical views of the island of Ibiza. A beautiful natural spot perfect for hiking and getting to know Ibiza by day, before plunging into its frenetic nightlife.

The offer of plans is increasingly wide, which does not help to decide, and that is why we must not forget that sometimes, the most important thing is the journey. The comfort during the journey, or the certainty that we will reach our destination are, nowadays, details of incalculable value that will allow us to enjoy Valentine's Day from beginning to end.

Because as they said in the unforgettable The Bridges of Madison, "I think the places I've been and the pictures I've taken throughout my life have been leading me to you."
