Its configuration is simple, so it can be done both by the client directly, and by Azimut. To do this, it is required, on the one hand, to configure the remote server where the platform and data will be hosted and, on the other, to configure the on-board devices of the fleet to connect to this platform. For its operation, the platform requires a license that is renewed annually. Optionally available a version of the platform in the form of a mobile application for IOS and Android devices.
Additionally, from Azimut we can provide both the cloud storage service and the 4G connectivity service, which will allow the transmission of data in real time from the vehicles to the platform. Although 4G connectivity is not essential, since data transmission can also be done by WIFI once vehicles arrive at the garage, it is necessary to have real-time access to vehicles.
Security is also one of the main points of the platform and, therefore, has a user management module. This module allows administrators to define both the users who can access the platform, assigning them a unique username and password, as well as the access profiles of each user. User profiles allow you to define what kind of operations you can perform on the platform and which modules each user can access. The latter is a particularly useful functionality in companies that have users with different positions and that need to perform specific operations on the platform (monitor alarms, obtain operational reports and statistics, etc.), but it is not necessary to access all its functionalities. So this functionality allows you to limit what information is available depending on the user profile.
