DSM - FATIGUE AND DISTRACTION DETECTION SYSTEM

AZIMUT DSM (Driver Status Monitor) is a type of auxiliary driving warning system based on infrared machine vision technology. It aims to detect the driver's status to avoid unsafe driving behaviors.
The most remarkable is the detection of fatigue and avoid falling asleep at the wheel, thanks to its advanced facial recognition system. It also alerts when it detects driver distraction, smoking or cell phone use.

DSM CAMERA TO DETECT FATIGUE AND DISTRACTIONS

Detects driver behavior. It emits audible alarms when it detects unsafe behavior, such as closing your eyes or looking at your cell phone.

It has a GPS module that shows the location and recordings in real time in Full HD. It has infrared light to detect movements in low light.

2W loudspeaker with loud alarm sound.

It does not require any type of Internet connection, platforms, servers or software for its operation.

What is the DSM fatigue and distraction detection solution?

PREVENTING RISKS AT THE WHEEL

The AZIMUT DSM system warns the driver with an audible and a visual alert that helps the driver to prevent risky situations.

In the images we can see how the camera sensors, thanks to the advanced algorithm based on Deep Learning uses checkpoints to detect the actual state of the driver.

The system generates warnings that appear on a device located on the driver's dashboard.

DISTRACTION AND FATIGUE DETECTION

The system detects driver distraction when looking away from the road even when wearing glasses.

In addition, if it detects anomalous behavior, or the driver remains with his eyes closed longer than normal, it alerts the driver with an audible and visual alarm. It incorporates an alert system in case the driver tries to hide the camera.

The system records images from the DSM camera via SD card and keeps a record of the alarms triggered during the trip, including GPS position at the time each alarm was triggered.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

All that is needed is an ultra-sensitive infrared camera that can be placed on the side of the vehicle or frontally on the dashboard.

The camera is connected to the artificial intelligence system, which is in charge of reading, interpreting or predicting risk situations. It acts by generating an alert that is reproduced on the warning device or driver's device through the emission of sounds and images. The system, in turn, is connected to the cloud management platform, where it broadcasts the recording.

With the solution that includes the 4G, the system connects to the cloud management platform, where it broadcasts the recording and allows you to monitor what is happening in real time.

WHY CHOOSE THE AZIMUTH SYSTEM?

Facial recognition algorithm

The Azimut DSM system is based on a highly advanced facial recognition algorithm. The camera sensors, thanks to the algorithm based on deep learning, use checkpoints on the driver's face to detect the driver's condition.

It is a very precise and advanced algorithm that mimics human learning to improve its effectiveness. In this way, it is able to determine the driver's condition.

High-performance technology.

Our Azimut DSM system employs high-performance technology. The device's infrared camera is ultra-sensitive and detects all aspects of the driver's face during the day as well as at night.

The use of glasses does not diminish its sensitivity. Therefore, it allows you to predict risk situations with high accuracy.

EFFECTIVE PREVENTION WITH GREAT RESULTS

The system provides very efficient prevention of serious accidents. With our solutions, you get:

  • Improved road safety and driver behavior.
  • Reduction of insurance cost and fleet risks.
  • Protection against fraudulent claims by providing evidence.

MANAGE THE SAFETY OF YOUR FLEET WITH THE AZIMUT BUS BRAIN PLATFORM

The AZIMUT BUS BRAIN platform allows to efficiently manage all the information generated by the different safety systems installed in the vehicle, on the routes and in the entire fleet.
The platform is designed to improve service efficiency and enhance on-board safety, according to the real demands of the service in terms of driver behavior.

You can integrate different security systems into the platform:

GPS information: real-time location of all fleet vehicles and the route taken.

Videos and alarms in real time: visualize with videos what happens in real time on board the vehicle and videos showing the reason that triggered the warning alarms.

Evidences: access all the evidences that have been generated. You will be able to export them automatically and send them by e-mail.
