Within the Azimut Own Device platform, remote management is of special importance. This is basically designed to facilitate the operation and guarantee the optimal functioning of the on-board systems.
Basically it has 3 different functionalities
From this module the feeding of contents in the embedded devices is managed. For this, two basic processes are managed, such as intake and synchronization or transport:
Ingestion is the process in which the encrypted and scrambled content has previously been received (either by the original content provider or through a certified process through Azimut Own Device) and is added to the cloud catalogue. This process will never be done by the transport operator.
Once ingested in the cloud, the operator (or Azimut if it is the one that manages the service) will be able to access the available content catalog and assign it to its fleet.
The moment a content is assigned to an embedded server, the synchronization process starts.
Monitoring allows us to see, for each fleet, the state in which they are, both in terms of the operation of the on-board devices and in terms of the operation of content management processes, fleet positioning, etc.
Monitoring is the way to check that the devices work correctly
Analytical management is based on monitoring user behavior, of which all traceability is recorded in the system.
