Integration of systems and signals

This time we are going to take a step forward regarding the Wifi system as the communication center of the coach, we are going to see mainly the capacities that such a system can offer without counting the data connection of the equipment being on board.
As we all know there are many pieces of equipment on board the coach, many of which require a data connection, but at the same time many of these devices have connection interfaces which allow other computers to obtain information concerning their operation in order to be able to integrate with external applications.

In this case, there are WiFi systems with technical skills to connect by hardware to these other on-board computers in order to use them and obtain information from these same computers. A clear example is the integration of video recording systems (DVR) connected with advanced Wifi equipment, allowing the transport operator to know the status of the camera recording systems of the entire fleet since the implementation implement WiFi service management, so there is no need to check all DVRs to make sure they are working properly. The same would apply to other systems such as satellite television antennas, which would inform the WiFi router of their status, in order to respond in real time to any anomaly in the operation of these antennas without leaving the office.

On the other hand, it is possible that it is quite the opposite to what is said previously and our WiFi system can provide own information to other external applications and for this our WIFI system must meet a certain number of requirements advances that allow us to make such communication and often in different forms so that they are compatible with all types of applications. A typical case is to use the GPS positioning obtained by the WiFi router to send to external applications such as mobile applications. Another more technical example consists in deriving the traffic generated by the router according to the type of service required from a software or other platform to have a specific treatment.
In conclusion, just an idea:
An advanced Wifi solution is capable of integrating signals from third parties as well as allowing the integration of its own signals on various equipment.
To achieve this, apart from advanced hardware, we need even more advanced software that can manage all those data flows that we have commented.
